ABOUT

Amanda is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner that specializes in diagnosing and treating mental illnesses. Her expertise is in medication management in children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. She has been a nurse for over fifteen years and in that time she has learned how to deliver compassionate and complete care. She works collaboratively with her patients minimizing the number of medications and tests they endure with the ultimate goal being their contentness and happiness.

On a personal level Amanda is dedicated and works hard to break the stigma that surrounds mental health. She fights the societal stigma of shame and disapproval that is pressed upon people with mental illness which often leads to discrimination, isolation and a lower quality of life for her patients.
